When posting this, I searched for a better source (NYT has "updates coming" but no one else has anything) because I thought I was reading a tabloid website, then I realized the site I was on was actually Newsweek. I don't know why their site looks like that, but the news seems legitimate.
Not sure what the intention was behind the comment (as its only a URL) but in case it was "old news:" Hydroxychloroquine has been heavily discussed on HN in the past few days, but this article says that today (Thursday) President Trump has announced immediate FDA approval of the drug for treatment of SARS-CoV-2 infections.
