I have designed, engineered and put into production an extensive database of competitor pricing data in a financial commodity product (e.g. credit cards, loans, other consumer financial space).
Other than simple competitive intelligence/reporting (for exanple this competitor price is trending up/down, competitors of this segment are behaving in a given way) how can this data be best utilised?
For more detail, it is extremely granular data with an ability to aggregate making it possible to identify prices for very small segments of consumers (state, product variation) as well as incredibly large (national).
This data could be a goldmine if leveraged properly and I think the HN community might have a better idea than I do.
