Hello HN,
I've been wondering what the benefits (if any) of micro-optimizing your resume are, e.g. things like changing wording, adding strong action verbs, etc. etc.
Is it worth paying for some sort of professional service that does this, if friends/colleagues have already looked over it?
I imagine these things work better if an actual human reads it, but I've also heard that a lot of hiring these days uses automated services to screen resumes. Can anyone who works in recruiting share anything about that?
Is it all about keywords + gaming the system now? Should I be worried about these small things?
