the big take away for me is the parallel between "fanboys" and "haters". other than that, i have to agree with some comments that the article feels strange because of the casual use of the word loser and a loose description of their unfortunate fate. "fanboys" didn't get the same treatment. no word to identify them (winner, maybe?).
