My name is Michael Soliman and I am starting a community on the Slack platform for people that value health, wellness, and overall self-growth.
From my experience daily demands and distractions make it difficult in being intentional and accountable to our wellness goals and values.
The goal with this slack channel is to create a community that shares wellness goals for the day and stay accountable to them. It helps us to be more intentional and committed on a daily basis while inspiring and supporting the overall community.
How it will work
The channel is a daily check-in for us to share our goals for the day and then verify completion. For example, my past Monday goals were:
- 5-6:15 am workout
- Help daughter with homework and read with her
- Meal prep 5 days worth of food
- Read one chapter of Quiet by Susan Cain
I like to set my intentions the night before but for some, you might like to set it the day of. Regardless, there is a reminder each morning, if you didn’t set your wellness intentions for the day.
Then share your completion to inspire the community and hold yourself accountable.
On Saturday evening I will DM you a weekly. It will show number of days checked-in, number of completions, and most popular activity.
I’m giving the space some rails but I’m more interested on how our community further builds itself.
