The NYT peddled the Russia conspiracy theory for two years, even won the Pulitzer prize for it. It was presented as a case that just needed Mueller to confirm. Turned out the entire thing was based on lies and assumptions, but mostly the want of the newspaper that it be true. The NYT has done nothing to apologize for their actions and to make sure this doesn't happen again.
