IMO Constantly comparing comments on this site to those from reddit is dragging it down to the level of reddit.

I'm not avoiding anything, I just don't have the time to try and guess what I wrote the parent has a problem with and then source it all. If he would just clarify what his issues are, it would help. But instead all I seem to get are emotional tirades which never address my argument.
