The people developing the FPGA-based retro computer named MEGA65 (http://mega65.org), an enhanced replica of the ultr-rare Commodore 65 prototype computer, again try to hack the system: Instead of using a crowd-funding platform they are asking the community for donations of 66,000 Euros total by displaying the 8 highest bids in a highscore-list on the page. The campaign runs for one week now and has already collected around 10% (over 6,000 Euros).
