This was the single reason I couldn't operate my own mail server. My mails were just always marked as spam by Google, no matter how much I made sure the whole TLS/DKIM/DMARC/DNSSEC/etc setup was correct. We tend to think about E-mail as something that is still distributed, but Google really killed that.
