Oh awesome. So does that mean we can finally do away with the gigantic money sink that is HIPAA? Because if we're gonna have our health information leaked, then there's no reason to keep up this charade.


I get the feeling these are just general websites with mental health information, articles and little tests, but not actual health providers. If it's just a directory and not your health insurance company or doctor, they don't fall under HIPAA. HIPAA only applies to the US. EU laws and the GDPR, which this article are discussing, are very different.
