Is Yahoo Pipes (and similar services) a good thing? Seems ripe for abuse. Issues I see with it:
* Taking content from multiple sites (out of context) and putting them together in a mashup. The content is copyrighted material. Is taking it and using it w/o consent legal?
* Emulating other sites for phishing purposes or a knock off of a popular site (with ads of course that do not appear on the real site).
* It's just annoying to see your content on other sites. In the least, it strikes me as rude.
What does HN think? I started blocking it, do others?
