Had me until the fake Einstein quote and the misspelled link to Farnam Street. Lost me for good.

Einstein joke is a common meme. Typo is inconsequential and probably fixed in the non-archive version.

The article is substantive and interesting. Well worth a look.

You're absolutely right. I was unnecessarily snarky.

Is it this quote that you're referring to?

>> “To break a mental model is harder than splitting the atom.”

I've tried to find any reference to this either being fake or misattributed, but can't find anything obvious. I'd love to know what you're referring to when saying it's fake.

I didn't realise it was fake. If it is I'll remove it once the website is up-and-running again.

You’ve accidentally repurposed a meme regarding LEGO blocks. Easily googled. Why not paste one of those in under the quote instead of removing it?

Here’s a mental model to add (if it’s not already there): In any heterogeneous population, some people have no sense of humor. Ignore.

Fair point! Thank you. Decided to leave it in there. :)

Does it matter if it's fake or not? Is it useful is what should kind I think. A famous person having said something - outside their field especially - is a poor proxy for evaluating the thing itself.
