I don't know about the parent poster, but apple watches have had a high rate of a.fib false positives.[0]

I'm not sure if that has been remediated yet.

Presumably the new version is more accurate


Have any studies been done on the new Apple watch’s effectiveness of detecting afib? I’m on mobile and couldn’t find anything with a quick search
