Ask HN: Kubernetes and Ingress/Certificates Limits

Hi all. Not sure if this is the best place to ask this but it's worth trying. I am working on an app that allows users to add custom domains. So the idea is that when a user adds a custom domain to their account, the apps makes a call to the kubernetes API and creates an ingress; cert-manager then issues the certificate for that domain. As per the title, is there a limit to the number of ingresses or even certificates that kubernetes can handle? If yes what is that limit / what determines it? How to scale in this case?
