I would guess that they could be structured with iframes. Or deployed to separate url paths eg:

    example.com/login (login webapp)
    example.com/store (store webapp)
But I'm not sure they would be considered micro front ends then...


I haven't used iframes for at least 15 years, so I've kind of lost track of their limitations.

Are there limitations on Javascript accessing inside the iframe and/or vice-versa?


Yeah, they're actually highly sandboxed which is good for isolation but makes it hard to communicate between and update components on the page
