I'm trying to wrap my mind around what the author means by saying the value would come "from leveraging data to eventually create a rental marketplace where users can find the perfect apartment to move into."
Seems to be a payment platform, where landlords would register their rentals (apartment info, rent amount, etc) in order to charge renters. The platform owners would then take that data and use it to build a rental listing site (like Airbnb but for long-term rentals).
