Why would you bother to conduct and disseminate such flawed research? What sort of scientist would state publicly that their research shows married people are 'fucking miserable'? That there can't possibly be any more nuance beyond that?
Not to mention that there is a reproducibility crisis in psychology and social science, and delivering the message without nuance makes it even more irresponsible.
