This is good news for me as one of my iOS apps does some crazy realtime computations and often crashes on older devices and eventhough there is a disclaimer the app works better on newer devices people will still complain and put bad reviews. Unfortunately there is no way to prevent a user with a specific device model to "not download" the app. The only differentiating factor on the app store is iPad VS iPhone and currently installed iOS version.
