Those videos say all your data goes to the cloud. What if I were in a place where there is no internet and I want to work offline?

Chrome-os notebooks a.k.a social laptops unlike personal laptops. I think these next-gen notebooks are good for internet kiosks/browsing centers. If everything is in the cloud, then there is nothing personal which itself is a privacy breach.
