that is the moral stain? what about every surveillance tech company? what about the soaring cost of living pushing people into homelessness?

nope. uber is the only problematic corporation here.


While I agree with the sentiment and most that’s being said in this article, it’s exactly that: most of it has already been said and discussed on HN, and I don’t feel like it adds anything new.

Besides that, Uber is hardly the first nor will it be the last moral stain of the valley.


This is the same columnist who wrote "Abolish Billionaires" and "There’s Nothing Wrong With Open Borders".

Don't reward this garbage by clicking on it.


Ideological and ad hominem arguments don't help me understand your thinking. Are there specific facts or reasoning you disagree with that transcend the author or ideology?


Replace Silicon Valley with San Francisco.
