He says he was Satoshi and he did it because he wanted privacy. Yet for the last few years he has done nothing but court attention and fame.
If he is Satoshi, sign a message with an early block, one mined in the first 6 months and I will believe him, until then I don't.
The important bit is that it doesn't matter anyway, Satoshi Nakamoto was the inventor or creator but he is not the controller. If Craig is Satoshi and he envisages a different type of bitcoin then so be it, but if he created bitcoin then he did so knowing that he could not control it once it was released.
Perhaps he thinks he can move value from bitcoin to bitcoin SV but if he really wanted to destroy bitcoin and create a replacement then he would just need to move all of Satoshis mined bitcoin to an exchange, that movement alone would crash the price even if he didnt sell any himself, but perhaps that may also destroy bitcoin SV because as a fork he would own the same amount of bitcoin SV and could do the same to that fork at any point.
It seems pretty clear that this person is definitely not Satoshi Nakamoto. Truth is, I don't really care who it is but it IS super easy to proof that you are. This person didn't prove anything, didn't even try to proof that what he is saying is real.
It seems more likely than what he's trying to do is pump his BCH SV coin.
There are easy ways to prove that someone is Satoshi Nakamoto and unless I see one, anyone claiming they are without providing proof is just a liar.
For instance, CZ, the CEO of Binance said the following :
"The real Satoshi can digitally sign any message to prove it. This is as simple as breathing for him/her. And we have the pub key.
Until then, everyone is Satoshi, except Craig Wright!"
I still don’t understand why all of a sudden Craig Wright is wanting to unmask himself as satoshi.
It’s just strange - there was a reason to keep the founder of bitcoin private and now all of a sudden there is a reason this person claiming to be satoshi.
