Can I safely assume my Netlify-hosted domains will work?

Depends, if you have hosted the DNS at netlify, then you can assume it is.

If you only run hosting at netlify (thus, having your DNS CNAME to Netlify) you can still have problems.

Use the checker on the website to know for sure.
