Is there space for disruption when it comes to password managers?

A friend of mine has recently started developing a password manager. I joined him in his efforts now and am trusted with everything outside of pure development. We are in the very early stages but want to build the product heavily reliant on feedback cycles from users and security aficionados. After all transparency/trust is everything when it comes to security. Funnily most USP's are derived from things we dislike about a certain popular password manager with a number in the name.

The USP's we are working on:

- Open source - No monthly subscriptions - Basic version free to use - Sleek and basic UI

I would really like to hear what people are missing in their password managers.

Maybe you think the USP's are weak,

maybe you think that getting rid of monthly subscription alone is enough?

Maybe you want to be able to do something else with your password manager as well?

Maybe you think passwords are bs and should be replaced by something else?

Keen to hear any constructive feedback!
