The effects of global warming are going to be quite minor. Mostly having to build levees / relocate low lying buildings. Very expensive, but hardly a doomsday scenario. Not as big a deal imo as other man made threats to the environment (and to ourselves).
Warmer climates increase agricultural productivity and available farmland. The bigger risk to farmland is desertification due to overcultuvation and other manmade causes (that are mostly not global warming).
