The whole idea is that AI is supposed to:
a) run more accurately than humans - good luck when translating
b) run with lower cost - even Mechanical Turk is not as cheap
c) do not require an army of people to handle the task
If the "AI" company lies by using manual translation without the Turk, they're lying about point B a lot.
If they're using Turk, they're lying about point C and a bit less about point B.
