Can anyone recommend an alternative to TechCrunch that is less centered on consumer web startups?
I'd like to hear more about startups/companies in specialized industries that get less mainstream coverage such as agriculture, national defense, health care, engineering, banking, natural resources, etc.
In other words, companies that are trying to solve real, hard problems.
I just came back from a career fair at my university and was shocked to see so many software companies that I had never heard about in industries I had very little knowledge about.
