This is just a link to the Tesla homepage...? Says delivery in 2-4 months...? So maybe they've gotten to the end of the initial AWD reservations, is this really big news?


starting from $49,000


Practical starting price is $54,000 - Who would ever buy it without EAP which is needed for the adaptive cruise control.


For the long-range version, which is all that's available until the end of the year, as has been known for a long time. But let's keep acting like it's news.


It's been known for a long time that model 3 starts from $35,000. That was the whole point of model 3 - an affordable model. That was what made people talk about it. And then it turned out to be "it starts from 35k but you cannot order it, thanks for waiting with your reservation in line and for building hype, we need money".

I wouldn't be surprised if at the end of the year "expensive" trim will become the only "standard" trim. Because why would you want to settle with less than the best Tesla can provide you with?
