Ask HN: Right way to reach out to early-stage investors if you are not in the US

Hi,

We've built what we think is an interesting consumer site/app for customers in the US (an aggregator for clothing). This is based on limited validation with actual users in the US, and with a very sizable number in a different geography.

Now, we think that the US is a better market because aggregation is far more useful here, where the number of viable sites to aggregate is far higher. There are other reasons as well. Ideally, we'd want to find an early stage investor who is based in the US and has the network to facilitate talks with the retailers we'd want to tie up with. We could try angel list, but wondering if there other networks we could tap into. Thanks!
