It's pretty easy to live without AirBnB. While outrageous and rude on general ground, AirBnB behavior here is not too harmful. But what if another company like Google just blacklists you? That could be a lot more trouble, especially if you have Google mail, use Google identity to log in to other sites, etc. And what if it's some cloud company that just blocks you from your data, backups, digital assets, private keys, etc.? Modern tech provides a lot of nice opportunities, but if you stop to think about it it's scary how fragile it is and how much a lone keypress of somebody (alive or even bot) inside the guts of a major company can have impact on your life...
