I do not believe that she got job offers--especially not from Google, which famously takes something like 4 months to make an offer. (The experiment lasted only 28 days.) Invitations to interview, maybe.

Its true, the nooglers I know went to several interviews over the course of several weeks. However don't forget about that guy who caused a cascade of google instant ripoffs when he created youtube instant, then subsequently offered a job by the you tube CEO.
