I'm not aware of any county boundaries being changed, so I don't see how gerrymandering has anything to do with it.


If available seats (regardless of county) are made less competitive through gerrymandering then whatever counties those seats represent are likewise made less competitive. Voting districts are not drawn by county lines.


Again, we're talking about Presidential elections here. Gerrymandering is irrelevant.


My mistake. I thought we were discussing voting more generally.
