By tech "ecosystem" I'm referring to something like Apple, Google or Amazon's suite of interfacing products. I've been flip-flopping back and forth between Apple's and Google's lately. I use Google's services for many things like email, maps, cloud storage. But I feel like Apple's devices are superior quality and are more stable/secure. I've also noticed that committing to an ecosystem can sometimes make purchase decisions easier and guarantee that your gadgets work well together.
I was wondering if anyone had any perspectives on this? What ecosystem do you "belong" to? Is putting all of your eggs in one basket a bad idea? Or do the benefits outweigh the drawbacks?
