VergeSense (YC S17) is building "Amazon Go" for buildings. Our easy-to-deploy computer vision sensors help large enterprises automate day-to-day operations, execute dynamic workforce strategies, and reduce energy costs. For large clients, the financial impact is in the tens of millions per year.
We have multiple paying enterprise-customers who collectively manage hundreds of millions of sqft of real estate and we're growing quickly. We're looking to add additional full-time teammates to accelerate product development and meet the demand. The most unique aspect of our product is simplicity - we’ve optimized for rapid-installation (no wires, no IT integration), enabling us to get into the market rapidly.

We like to move & iterate fast - going from company inception to our first product launch in 3 months. We believe in autonomy and the outsized impact that a single team member can have on a company, and you can expect to commit code on your first day and ship a feature in your first week. Our team is experienced (previous successful exit in the IoT space), with a commitment to a sustainable working culture built for the long-haul.
We're working out of the brand new beautiful Bolt office in SOMA, but we're open to remote work as well.
On the software-side, our current stack uses Rails, React, Heroku, a variety of AWS Services (AWS IoT, Redshift, DynamoDB), and Tensorflow for machine-learning.
