Plus it doesn't count app usage, making it a fairly useless indicator.


Reliable is probably not the best adjective. Alexa ratings are very reliable if you measure them against previous Alexa rankings.


We have App numbers separately and the latest numbers had Google owning 5 of the top 10 used in the US for both platforms, iOS and Android.

FB had 3. MS and Apple interestingly did not have a single one in the top 10.

Was curious for the world and looks like the top 2 are the same, Google search and YouTube. But then Reddit is 6 but climbing fast.
