At some point, every product creator starts thinking of new features to add to their project or service. (Sometimes, even before they've launched.)
It's very hard to resist adding new features, particularly if you compare yourself to a competitor with additional functionality or if your customers are asking for features.
What has been your experience with adding features to your product or project?
For new projects, has it delayed the launch of your product? Has it over-complicated your product? Has it diluted the core proposition of your product?
Or has adding features been a core part of your success? For example, attracting users away from similar products because of unique or additional features not found in your competitors?
