Hipchat 2017 works perfectly fine for a chat app (which @tootie said have been basically the same for 30 years). We have not been forced to migrate to Stride yet, but I am bummed about this can I keep kicking down the road. I don't care how much better Stride is, Hipchat is good enough for us.
