It was an interesting deck of slides. For those of you who don't have time to go through them, the answer was "35.08% of users used tag clouds at least once in a while."


In more detail:

3.78% said "All the time"

7.98% said "Most of the time"

23.32% said "Sometimes"

64.92% said "Never"


problem with the study: they surveyed consumers about their behaviour instead of observing their behaviour firsthand... a lot of details were missing too, like the demographics of the people they studied. not to mention the prominence of tags differs from site to site
