That's kind of a click bait title. First of all, O'Reilly never made books, they just publish them. Second, they're not stopping, they're just no longer selling directly. These books are still available for purchase digitally and physically. The biggest thing is that they're no longer DRM-free.


Changed it to "Physical Books" to make it more clear.

Edit: Yes, I did read the article. Did you? Or maybe you just missed the part where they said they were going to stop selling physical books...?

The submission title⁰ is misleading. O'Reilly stopped _selling_ books directly, they still sell via resellers and they still publish books. The actual article's title is "Why O'Reilly Media is no longer selling books online"
