I couldn't emphasize more, I hate it when websites do this. What are they possibly thinking! GRR it really grinds my gears.

Agreed. Nypost does it as well. I can't even comprehend how stupid their IT dept could be to allow this to go on for so long.

In your browser settings there should be an option for "Mobile view" - uncheck this option and it will display the normal version of all websites.

There doesn't seem to be a "Mobile view" option in the browser preferences, at least on 2.1 which is what is running on my nexus.

Try an alternative browser like Atomic Web - you can change your user agent string to look like Safari/Webkit for desktop and get the full version of websites that try to reroute you to a mobile version.
