Ask HN: Do HRs/recruiters share data about rejected interview candidates?

Saw this in my linked in feed. https://www.linkedin.com/hp/update/6268389249687613440

I really resent this idea, specifically because I did not do well in my initial interviews. Apart from being unfair to interviewees, isn't this a breach of privacy/trust?

"Let's Help Each Other(For HR Professionals) So, I have come up with an idea and I hope it will make a difference.

Being an HR, we do build our own database of candidates(not selected, irrelevant etc) and save it for future openings what if we share this data with other HRs who are trying to close the similar profile this way hiring will be much easier according to me.

Benefits: Filtered candidates Chances of candidates' placement will increase Good Reach faster Closures

I am ready to share my data for Full Stack Developer(Javascript, Nodejs & MongoDB) & Sales profile. If anyone is interested please inbox me."
