Does Ycombinator have first priority over Harvard graduates or Ex-Googler or startups that has minimal revenue or user base on accepting applications ??
Each, Google, Harvard, Ycombinator, provide a network of social connections. On a case by case basis (that's probably a good way of looking at applications), the value of one or the other will vary depending on how the hiring group values those networks...versus how it values other things.
