Yes but without knowing that 4770K is a 4core i was expecting it to be 8core chip because rest of the specs is 2x 500gb ssd and 32gb ram, same as mac pro

It's not well written that's for sure.

The way I read English the "was going to go for was" part acts as a conclusive delimiter.

As in: I was going to go for an 8-core CPU but went with an i7 4770K instead.
