One reason for the opinion of this union organisation is, of course, that they're intertwined with the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and to some extent the Leftist League, who both are currently in opposition. So it is rather natural that it is against something that the governing parties (a coalition of centre-right parties with different support bases) has initiated.
