People who have studied voting in general and applying cryptographic techniques to voting also have questions about using any type of electronic devices in recording votes. Paper based elections are cheaper. You need the same polling places and staff yet paper and ballot boxes are much cheaper than polling machines. Your second sentence is laughable, name a single advantage.
