Why is this amazing at all? Older OSes are primarily using older and simpler features like ISA and pheripheral requirements. If an emulator can't emulate that, how can we expect it to run anything more sophisticated?
Nice! It's great that we still have a runnable record of Debian's past.
One thing I'm interested in, is if we can get the Debian 0.91 userland running on a recent kernel. With Linus's attention to preserving backwards compatibility, I wonder what, if any, changes are needed to make this work.
