Yealink – the global leading unified communication (UC) terminal solution provider – and TrueConf have announced the completion of joint interoperability testing and the successful certification of Yealink video conferencing terminals that are compatible with TrueConf videoconferencing software and the UC&C platform TrueConf Server.

Engineers from both companies worked together to ensure the compatibility and certification of Yealink video conferencing hardware endpoints (including the VC400, VC120 and VC110 room systems for different-sized meeting spaces and the T49G video phone for desktop video) with TrueConf Server, a complete unified communications software solution.

The solution compatibility allows TrueConf customers to use Yealink terminals in conference rooms or on their desktop with confidence. Companies that have already implemented Yealink solutions will be able to quickly and easily scale video communication to workplaces and to employees’ mobile devices, utilizing TrueConf’s solution. The TrueConf Server provides a modern unified communications system that supports UHD video, online collaboration, telephony and integration with corporate IT tools such as Active Directory.

Dmitry Odintsov, TrueConf CBDO, says: "Today you can find hardware videoconferencing terminals and SIP phones in almost every modern office, but with the expansion of business, customers are faced with the limited capacity of traditional MCU. The optimal solution in this situation is to use a software video server with SVC support to combine equipment and workspaces into a single unified communications network."
