Well, Alex, as someone descended from patent holders who scored extremely high on standardized tests myself, I can tell you categorically that the "stupid" people who are very social 1) will dismiss your arguments simply based on the tone and personal attacks, and 2) don't necessarily want to live in a society that is lead by "socially-awkward engineers." And probably rightly so.
He makes the claim "Being highly social actually correlates directly with [...] being stupid!", which is immediately followed by a supporting quote which clearly states that various personality attributes related to being social are "not related to IQ".
Truly intelligent people use supporting quotes which support, rather than contradict.
