What are some practical approaches (i.e. without regulating firearms) we can take to tackle this problem? We know that there is no way to change gun laws in the US, so it feels like that particular debate is pointless in the midst of a crisis. If we avoid this debate (at least for a time) we might be able to point our efforts towards achievable policy that could really save lives even if it isn't "perfect".
