On: VPAID ads destroy performance and are still served by major ad networks

For some reason I ignore ads when I'm reading content. Nonetheless, once sites started moving to full interruption ads, I decided to use adblock.

What boggles my mind is that people actually look at the ads and click on them and buy things.

People don't have to click on ads for them to be useful. You can't click on a billboard.
