Two points come to mind when reading the article and comments made here. One, humans have personalities based on dualistic and conflictive emotions. Only humans can love and hate at the same time at the same individual. AI is focused on mimicking some behaviors based on stimuli, but behaviors is not a personality in action. Personality is much more complex. Some Psychology 101 disperses all confusions around this. Two, the challenges around language recognition can't be programmed unless one solves meaning. Linguists have struggled to define meaning for decades; best definitions explain meaning fluctuates culturally, historically, politically, and to some extent by the individual.
